Wir Beide - eine Begegnungslandschaft (engl.: A voice invites to meet each other) is an audiowalk for a listening person who is guided by the voice through the landscape of fields and forest at Galgenberg Hildesheim via headphones.
As ME this voice accompanies the YOU of the listening person on the common way through and between the times of perceiving, waking up, dreaming and longing. We both walk (on) together, climb the mountain of memories, try to stay in the here and now and catch moments of the view into the morning.
In this interactive encounter landscape, the possibilities of encounter are explored through storytelling, listening and walking. Traces are left behind and an individual world between the unknown and the familiar, between ME and YOU, is created and entered together.
Source of inspiration: Wolfgang Herrndorf's novel Pictures of Your Great Love DURATION: approx. 120 min.
Lara and Helena met in their Master's at the University of Hildesheim and come to each other from different artistic directions: Lara studied performance arts and acting and, as a theater maker and researcher, explores interactive narrative strategies with a particular focus on decision-making processes in theater. Helena has a background in classical music and is part of the duo Fear Josie as a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist together with electric guitarist and vocalist Sebastian Ness. Fear Josie is minimalistic and atmospheric: melanchloc deep listening.
Idea and conception, text, voice: Lara Domke
Music and soundscapes: musical collective Fear Josie (Helena Walther, Sebastian Ness)
Sound recording direction, musical and dramaturgical advice: Helena Walther
Mix: Sebastian Ness
Dramaturgical advice: Paula Regine Erb
Notes:
Partly narrow, steep walking paths.
Slippery when it rains.
Not wheelchair accessible.
Sturdy, stable footwear is recommended.
Moderate fitness required (two ascents).
The audiowalk can be walked at your own desired pace.
The voice addresses the person listening by YOU (intimate setting).
The audiowalk invites interactive participation during the walk (including letter contact).
With regard to the accessibility of the walk, alternatives are still being researched.
