How to find us
You can reach our festival mainland in different ways. The address is: Kulturcampus Domäne Marienburg, Domänenstraße, 31141 Hildesheim
- Bus: From Hildesheim Hbf with line 34 to “Hildesheim-Itzum Scharfe Ecke”. Then a 5-minute walk to the Kulturcampus Domäne Marienburg. In the evening, the bus no longer runs regularly! However, we have taken precautions and organized special trips with the Inselhopper. You can find them on the timetable.
- Bicycle: From Hildesheim main station it takes about 20 minutes to get to the Domäne. You have the choice if you want to ride through the city center or enjoy nature on the Domäne bike path.
- Mobility for all people: The campus is difficult to reach for people with impairments. We know that. Therefore, together with the team “KulTour(en): Gemeinsam er-fahren mit Rikscha und Bus” of the Malteser Hildesheim and the support of Aktion Mensch, we enable you a carefree journey. The offer is free of charge for you! Inquiries and further information about this offer here.
The festival islands are all located in Hildesheim’s inner city.
You can find the map and the overview of the islands here.

Safety and health
Awareness:
STATE13 is intended to be a place of respectful interaction. We want to raise awareness of everyone's individual boundaries. STATE13 focuses on a shared, self-determined festival experience beyond sexism, racism, any form of discrimination and violence. Therefore, we as the organizing team have completed the workshop “Ally*ing” and have set the following anti-discrimination guidelines. We ask all of you to be respectful in your discourse with one another, to model these guidelines, and to challenge and expand your own perspectives.
The festival will be supported by the initiative Awareness*Hildesheim. Find them in the Wintergarten (2/006) at Domäne campus. You can also reach the team's emergency phone at the following number: 01773249674
Barrier-reduction:
With the motto ART TIES! the STATE13 wants to create a festival that can be accessible to as many people as possible. That's why we've put together a guide to lower barriers. The productions have made an effort to follow it. If you have a restriction, you will find information about it at the individual program points. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate everyone's needs. We have also marked this in the individual program points.
Protection and hygiene concept:
We currently don't expect any covid measures that exceed the warning level 1 of local regulations in the Hildesheim area. Therefore the following regulations apply:
→ admission requirement: 3G (fully vaccinated, recovered, tested persons with a PoC-antigen-test not older than 24 hours)
→ contact tracing: via Luca app and note on site
→ mask requirement: in enclosed spaces, medical masks (OP or FFP2) are mandatory. If you cannot keep your distance from people you do not know or that do not belong to your household, please also put on a mask outside!
→ hand hygiene: we ensure regular and sufficient hand hygiene for all participants, avoid shaking hands and use the sanitary facilities!
→ minimum distance: we ensure that all participants can keep the necessary minimum distance of 1.5m, there will also be a guidance system!
→ reservations: reservation are required for some program points in order to control the number of people in enclosed spaces.
→ special measures apply for the STATE13 AFTER ART Party. See here.
